For people seeking information about the weight loss drug Tirzepatide (Mounjaro). This is not currently available on NHS prescription anywhere in Greater Manchester, including GP practices, pharmacies, hospitals, or specialist weight management services. The decision not to prescribe is NOT taken by the GPs / practitioners at the surgery - they must follow the guidelines in place.

NHS DIGITAL WEIGHT MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME
This offers online access to weight management plans to those living with obesity who also have a diagnosis of diabetes, or hypertension, or both. It is designed to offer patients a personalised level of support to help them to manage their weight.

Eligibility criteria: BMI more than 30 (ethnic minority communities BMI more than 27.5) AND a diagnosis of diabetes or high blood pressure.

OTHER OPTIONS:
