Named Accountable GP

 NAMED ACCOUNTABLE GP

From 1st April 2015 onwards Practices are required, under the GMS contract, to allocate a named accountable GP to all patients, including children.

All our patients are allocated a GP on registering with the practice. New patients registering will be informed of their named GP at the point of registration.

Please be aware the name of your allocated GP will not necessarily be the one you see most regularly.

If you wish to know who your named, accountable GP is, please ask the receptionist when you call in or telephone. If you feel you would like a different GP allocated to you, please let us know and we will do our best to arrange this.

You are still free to see any GP, especially when a different GP may have a sooner or more convenient appointment to meet your needs. You may also need to see or speak to an alternative GP in urgent situations or if a home visit is required.

Please be assured that you can still access all of our medical team in exactly the same way as before.
